Our slow speed Blunger conforms to principles tried, tested and trusted throughout the ceramic industry.  It is designed to cope with the many different types of material including ball clay, china clay, press cakes and scraps.  It is ideal for producing casting slips.

 The hexagonal tank is fabricated in corrosion resistant 3CR12 and epoxy coated.  The shape aids efficient mixing by preventing vortexing.  The slow speed agitator paddle does not introduce air to the slip – a serious disadvantage of high-speed machines.  The paddle is driven by a 3-phase or single phase geared motor.

 The Blungers are made in three standard sizes, viz. 150 litres, 300 litres and 850 litres.  They are essential equipment in large studios and factories.
